Earned Income Credit/ Child Tax Credit

For EIC Qualifying Children please provide:

 

  • birth certificates

  • social security cards

  • proof of residency (school records, State issued ID, etc.)

 

More documents may be required based on your tax situation. 

Which forms do I need to bring?

Make your appointment quick and easy by bringing in all the necessary documents and information. 

For each person on your tax return we need:

  1. Name

  2. Date of Birth (birth certificate for minors)

  3.  Social Security Card

  4. Last Year's Tax Return (if prepared elsewhere)

  5. Valid ID

Possible forms may include:

  • W-2s

  • Interest (1099-INT)

  • Dividend Income (1099-DIV)

  • Stock Sales (1099-B or Broker Statement)

  • Self-Employment Income (Profit and Loss statement)

  • Sale of a Personal Residence (1099-S, closing documents)

  • Rental Income and expenses

  • Gambling or Lottery Winnings (W-2G)

  • State Income Tax Refund (1099-G)

  • Pension Income (1099-R)

  • Social Security or Railroad Retirement

  • IRA or 401(k) Distribution

  • Unemployment Compensation (1099-G)

Deductions or adjustments may include:

  • Medical Expenses

  • Real Estate Taxes or Personal Property Taxes (DMV tags)

  • Mortgage Interest

  • Donations

  • Gambling Losses

  • College or University Expenses

  • Electric Vehicle (sales contract needed)

  • Solar Panels (sales contract needed)

  • In-home office square footage

  • Milage

Can I drop off my forms?

Yes, of course! Bring in your forms and we will give you a call once they are ready so we can review the tax together and you can sign.
